2nd PSC Contest : Saturday 12th Dec
Comp number 2 has been scheduled for December 12th. We will run this regardless as due to the nature of the Surfing Vic calender we must run two comps prior to Christmas.
The reason for so many postponements is a combination of poor forecasts, beach access at Gunna due to the construction work, and free weekends.
The working bee scheduled for this Saturday the 5th won't be run as too many people have commitments this close to xmas, and we would rather see a big turnout at the club comp (where we will probably organise a few small crews to do some maintenance at the clubhouse), as well as at the Jim Beam Tag Team on the 19th.
The boys have organised a big XMAS PARTY on the 19th following the Tag event, to kick off at the club house from 4pm with bands, Santa for the kids, family music, and then kicking on from 7ish for the older crew with more bands and the bar... Jim Beam will be playing a role at the party and there will potentially be a skate demo so keep the date free for a massive xmas celebration PSC style. Heres hoping the boys can go well and secure one of the aussie final slots in the tag team too - we definitely have the talent in our young team guys. $5bucks tix at the beach or $10 at the gate.
Sorry for all the postponements, and we look forward to getting comp 2 done on December 12th, rain, hail or shine!

PSC Season 09/10 is Underway!
Saturday 7th November saw clear blue skies, offshore winds, 3ft swell - super contestable conditions all day! Well done to the new committee for putting the new format into place with the trials and 4 man finals!

2009/10 PSC Contest Format
A new format will be in place this season involving the top seven Open surfers being seeded straight into the Open Quarter Finals, The rest of Open, B-Grade, and top surfers from the other divisions will enter in Rnd 1.
All Open, B-Grade, Juniors & Cadets check in at 7.00am for 7.30am Start!
All other division surfers check in by 10.00am! |

Teams Titles 09 : 6th Sept Jan Juc
Massive thanks to all surfers who did a great job on the day. Particularly to Tex for a huge effort as a late call up (and injured!), and to Adam Morris, Cal Nico, Hayden Forrest, Mikey Barber and Georgia Fish for excellent performances. Also to Timmy, Grant, Pittsy, Jolly, Matilda, GT, and Jack for a good effort in the teams events. A very close 3rd to the Island (2nd), it was great to see that we can easily match it with these guys - promising signs for years to come.
The club had an awesome amount of support on the day and did the bus trip home in style (Best on Bus - Dave Parsons??) after a quick stop at BBH in Jan Juc to share a beer with winners Torquay - thanks to the bus company for being good sports.
